BONDHU, an organization focused on mental health and well-being, conducted a two-month “Basic Counselling Skills” training program from November 7, 2024, to January 18, 2025. The training was conducted by four professional psychologists from Bangladesh. The program encompassed fundamental counselling competencies, including communication, ethical practice, assessment, intervention strategies, and specialized knowledge related to psychotic disorders, suicide prevention, and addiction management.
Successful completion of this training demonstrates acquired expertise in basic counselling principles, thereby enhancing professional capabilities in roles that require interpersonal communication, empathetic understanding, and problem-solving skills. This certification signifies a commitment to ongoing professional development and the readiness to apply learned skills in various professional settings, in accordance with BONDHU’s mission to promote psychological health.
